John Durham's prosecutors are resorting to thoroughly dishonest tactics in an attempt to pierce the Democrats' privilege claims.

In addition to calling some of the top cybersecurity researchers in the US "worker bees" in a recent Michael Sussmann hearing, Andrew DeFilippis also admits that those "worker bees" were working on the DNS anomaly at the core of Michael Sussmann's case before the Democrats ever got involved.

In his first decision about the scope of evidence that will come in at Michael Sussmann's trial, Judge Christopher Cooper applied the principles Judge Reggie Walton adopted in the Scooter Libby trial.

John Durham says the only way he can get testimony about what Rodney Joffe said to Laura Seago is to immunize Seago and breach both the Democrats' and Joffe's assertions of privilege. In fact, that's a better argument to immunize Joffe, just as Sussmann has requested he do.

John Durham's entire trial strategy consists of claiming that it was obviously political to investigate a real forensic anomaly to see whether it explained why Russia responded to Trump's call for more hacks by renewing their attack on Hillary. He's doing so while withholding abundant material evidence that DOJ already decided he's wrong.

The Build the Wall fraud -- where Trump allowed close associates to cheat his supporters, only to have Trump selectively pardon the single important person accused in the fraud in seeming exchange for his role in an even bigger fraud -- perfectly captures Trump's parasitic relationship with the cult he has created. It's a pyramid scheme of abuse in which, thus far, the little guys at the bottom are the ones who pay the biggest price.
