Happy Holidays to All

I’m in PA trying to visit with a bunch of sick relatives, so won’t have much time to voice my appreciation for everything this community does for me.

But I will share my long-time Congressman’s holiday wishes

May today be a safe and joyous day for everyone.

Happy Holidays, indeed.  We’ll all be richer for it, just not in the only way that the Don can imagine, which is a great relief.  Thanks very much for making this a community.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.

Thank you Marcy for another good year of wheeling. May ’18 build on the successes of this year, and may you escape the Pennsylvania illnesses unscathed.

Thank you Marcy and all the little wheelers who post here. This is indeed a community and fills a real void left by the end of FDL. Happy holidays.

Happy Holidays, Marcy — and Bmaz, Rayne, and Jim. I appreciate all that I learn from this site – from the four of you and the commenters….for many years. Have a Happy and Healthy New Year, all of you! –Francine Fein

      From sublink

      http://www.zdnet.com/article/ragtime-program-appear-in-nsa-leaked-files/

Only a fraction of NSA staffers have the appropriate security clearance to access Ragtime’s databases. One previously leaked document says analysts must have special “need to know” clearance to access the data, and any information relating to Ragtime is restricted from being shared to foreign intelligence partners. The exception is Ragtime-C, which the new document implies a level of co-operation from the UK government.

The data stored in Ragtime’s databases is so sensitive that their very existence is compartmentalized. The clearance level for each Ragtime version, according to the document, is “unpublished,” in an effort to ensure that the programs themselves aren’t widely known about across the agency.

[Well, if most inside NSA do not know about it, how can Congress know and provide any oversight? Of course, if congresscritters are in the target list…]

      [And does FISC even know?]

Ragtime has been around for a long time, and yep, it is utilized through FISC. Google Ragtime and Marc Ambinder.

Yeah, but. That is old stuff.
Ragtime suffixes of A,B,C, and P older and known.

Now suffixes of BQ, F, N, PQ, S, T, and USP.

It is the USP suffix to note. US Person.

Points to clear 4th Ammendment problem.
