Just on Time … Bandar’s Promised Terror Attacks?
Back in July, Bandar bin Sultan met with Vladimir Putin. As part of an effort to buy off Putin’s support of Bashar al-Assad, Bandar allegedly promised to be able to prevent terrorist attacks tied to the Sochi Olympics.
As an example, I can give you a guarantee to protect the Winter Olympics in the city of Sochi on the Black Sea next year. The Chechen groups that threaten the security of the games are controlled by us, and they will not move in the Syrian territory’s direction without coordinating with us. These groups do not scare us. We use them in the face of the Syrian regime but they will have no role or influence in Syria’s political future.” [my emphasis]
Admittedly, this version of the threat was Putin’s version of it, and admittedly Putin has his own history of allowing attacks to happen.
But Bandar has made such threats before, with more reliable countries. And Bandar’s surrogates have been issuing implicit threats since his July “warning.”
So as we follow the aftermath of the two attacks in Volgograd in two days, and as we get closer to the February start date for the Olympics, it’s worth remembering that Bandar boasted of controlling the Islamic terrorists in Russia.
Oh Bandar Bandar Bandar. Bandar is the Director of Saudi Secret Police. And Bandar Bush owns the very compliant Barack Obama and US Intelligence Community. That is because the US Intelligence Community takes their orders from the International Fossil Fuel Cartel, which needs Saudi Oil.
But Putin is no wimpy Obama. You mess with Vladmir Putin, and your life expectancy diminishes rapidly. The Bush Crime Family may lose one of their most powerful allies. I can hardly wait.
@Frank33: There was actually a rumor that the Chechen mob had been contracted to take out Bandar and two Qataris earlier this year.
@emptywheel:quote “There was actually a rumor..”unquote
Really? Where do you hear rumors like this? Holy whispers..you must run with a dangerous crowd.:)
As Frank33 suggests, Bandar is only a part of it. I suspect it’s not Bandar owning the USA or vice versa but a conspiracy between the two. It’s not over oil, the US doesn’t need Saudi oil, but over the sustainment of terrorism as necessary for the US security state to continue. The US has a long history of supporting terrorism, from Afghanistan to Libya to Syria and elsewhere.
It’s bigger than Bandar, I suggest, with Russia/Iran/Syria as the enemy and terrorism as the means.
@bloodypitchfork: Actually it was reported via an unreliable ME newspaper.
By the way, nobody in Iran, the country that Bandar really wants us to hate, has made similar threats against Russian or Western targets.
@Don Bacon:
I very much agree. The False Flag Terror Theatre makes everything else possible for the One Percent. And of course Prince Bandar did his banking at the Riggs Bank and financed 9/11 hijackers. General Hayden was very helpful with the money management for the SanDiego Al Qaeda affiliate.
But the owners of the world’s Fossil Fuel, have a dwindling resource. They must maximize profits which is why they need “Prince Bandar”. If, or when the Dirty Oil is depleted, we can expect economies to collapse and mass starvation. The upside for the owners of Oil, Coal and Uranium is their poisonous chemicals, fracking and pipelines contribute to the goal of “soft genocide”. Or as they describe it, elimination of useless feeders.
@Phoenix Woman:
There are a lot of people who are conditioned to believe anything bad said about Iran. That Iran is actually not doing any of those things doesn’t register at all.
Give the media credit, that is a neat story they are consistently and unanimously peddling these days about the concocted USA/Saudi divorce, despite–>
They’re “dealing jointly with troublesome issues like Syria, Iran” and also I/P, but forget that. I wonder if that was the visit when they decided to do Russia.
George Galloway, British Member of Parliament, also suggests that you do not want to have Vlad, as an enemy.
McLean’s First Mega-Mansion Builder, Bandar, knows whereof he speaks. “Volgograd” doesn’t ring a bell with me, but of course it’s Old Stalingrad — best to hit Vlad where his heart is, eh? And you can’t catch a Moscow train bound for Sochi without going through the very Stalingrad trainstation they hit.
So there’s that.
Some other tidbits….

Also, there was a car bombing on the 27th in Pyatigorsk, much closer to Sochi:

@Teddy:
And most people would travel by train.
Everything is really come to a head with Bandar as of recent. We now have this somewhat passive-aggressive ultimatum to Putin (an offer he can and will refuse?), and of course we have the recent NYP article which, as I’m sure you are aware, stated the following:
“The Saudis deny any role in 9/11, but the CIA in one memo reportedly found “incontrovertible evidence” that Saudi government officials — not just wealthy Saudi hardliners, but high-level diplomats and intelligence officers employed by the kingdom — helped the hijackers both financially and logistically. The intelligence files cited in the report directly implicate the Saudi embassy in Washington and consulate in Los Angeles in the attacks, making 9/11 not just an act of terrorism, but an act of war.”
So Bandar is ripping a page out of American hegemony: He’s knee deep in the business of regime change, and will even go so far as to rile up his buddy, Uncle Sam; or at least give the wanting-to-be-riled-Uncle Sam a reason to roll up his ol’ sleeves. Or, due to old age and Vietnam, at least contract out to Blackwater.
