As far as how scary it is what will happen with the FBI’s counterintelligence mission, Ezra Cohen has talked about separating FBIs counterintelligence from the rest of the FBIs investigations. If Ezra Cohen said that, I would guess Kash Patel has the same goal. I don’t know the full implications of such a move or what acts of government would bring about.
