I enjoyed this read. The press and their rorschach? They really have to get over being afraid of this guy. Even when he’s clearly losing they’re afraid to say so.

it’s one of the many reasons (the most important being the SS plan is wrong for Americans. It doesn’t solve cash flow issues while making things worse, and while fraying the safety net) that Bush has to lose and be seen to lose on SS.

I also thought this was very insightful. I think that it will be very interesting to see how the public reacts to the thought that Greenspan might be a mortal (and more than that a partisan). I know that the MSM won’t pick up on this any time soon, but it will be interesting to see if public opinion really begins to shift outside of the more activist left.

Also our leader in the Senate is Harry Reid.

It’s high time someone in the US took Greenspan to task. As the generator of the two biggest bubbles* in US financial history, he will be remembered as one of the worst central bankers EVER.

    * the dot come bubble fed by cheap money
    * the real estate & debt bubble fed by even cheaper money

An important point about oil – Bush WANTS IT HIGHER! He’s bankrolling his red-state oil mafia and, as a lame duck, doesn’t give two cents if it climbs.
